The artist has intentionally left every natural crevice and knot in the walnut, removing material only to highlight what nature has already started. The result is a form that flows and breathes, casts shadows, which can be touched and thought about and interpreted.
Base is a shaped walnut slab, custom made and is the same material to complement and give contrast to the shape and weight of the sculpture. The vertical design is almost weightless, despite the density of wood — a delicate equilibrium of form and gravity.
