Every slab is constructed from sustainably sourced solid Eastern European walnut, ranging from time honoured rich brown heartwood, to the sapwood’s creamy look, and undeniable beautiful, swirling grain patterns. We retain the original richness — not the superfluous courtliness — of nature.
A corralled round top is softly sanded and hand oiled to a satiny, food safe finish. By this it is silky to the smooth touch and protected from daily wear and moist characteristic. As the timber ages it darkens and matures beautifully to become even more individual and stunning with age.
